This first set of performance metrics focuses on 12 key health indicators.

Six of the 12 indicators are previously reported indicators and provide the ability for us to measure performance over a period of months and years with consistency. Where possible the data is published across all regions.

The Te Whatu Ora Board has also agreed six new indicators for monthly reporting relating to planned care, emergency department presentations and admissions from an emergency department to an inpatient ward.
