Internationally qualified health professionals

Supporting registration for internationally qualified health professionals.

  • Overseas doctors

    Two new initiatives are targeted at qualified overseas doctors allowing them to apply for roles in NZ that will lead to full registration as a doctor.

  • Overseas nurses

    Internationally Qualified Nurses who need to complete a Competence Assessment Programme to work in NZ can apply for funding to reduce the costs.
