Doctors, nurses, allied health staff, technicians, orderlies and clinical administrators have all had their say in group sessions led by health planners.
73 User Groups were convened over two rounds held from September 2017—March 2018.
381 SDHB staff participated in User Group sessions to review and discuss future models of care in the new Dunedin Hospital.
User Group discussions helped to refine a view about how the new Dunedin Hospital could operate to realise benefits for staff and patients.
Staff have also discussed the associated space requirements necessary to meet anticipated increased future demand for services and how ways of working will change to meet this need.
