The first table below shows the number of Planned Care interventions that were delivered by DHBs for the last five financial years. 

 

The information includes Arranged and Elective:

 

  • Inpatient Surgical Discharges
  • Minor procedures delivered in inpatient, outpatient and community settings
  • Non-surgical interventions (early intervention musculoskeletal programmes).

 

2019/20 delivery of Planned Care was impacted by the response to COVID-19 from March 2020 onwards.
