Chair of the Southern Partnership Group Pete Hodgson recently attended the monthly meeting of the Southern District Community Health Council.
A number of the Council members are involved in the New Dunedin Hospital project as advisors on FiT (Facilities in Transformation) focus groups.
Pete Hodgson addressed the meeting, providing an in-depth update on the progress of the project, as well as responding to a number of topics ranging from roading to digital technology.
Mr Hodgson closed his comments by offering the Community Health Council his heartfelt thanks for their participation and contribution to the project. “Thank you to those people for their time. They read, they travel, and they attend meetings, and it can soak up quite a bit of energy. I mean it’s a great opportunity, and you can feel privileged to be involved, but it’s also good to say thank you”.
